MelissaMelissa Gasnick Cloeter is a co-founder of The Entrepreneur Expose’ and the President of WINC- The Women’s Initiative Network & Connection, LLC.  WINC, founded in 2007, is a consulting company that specializes in three areas:  Workforce Diversity, Marketing Strategies, and an Angel Investment Networking Group that invests solely in Women-Owned businesses.   Ms. Cloeter created WINC after an extensive career history in Sales, Marketing and Business Development by working for Fortune 500 companies and privately owned enterprises, including a magazine and events company where she was the VP of Sales. 
Entrepreneur Expose’ is a grassroots effort to help women entrepreneurs who want to start a business or grow an existing business.  Through a series of events and online seminars, Ms. Cloeter and her business partner, Linda Wellbrock, help women entrepreneurs in the following areas:  locate capital funding, media exposure and business development skills. 
Ms. Cloeter is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha and currently resides in Hackettstown, New Jersey.  She is a recent 2010 Top 50 NJ Women in Business recipient and a panelist speaker at the 2010 NJ Governor’s Conference for Women. 
Additionally, Ms. Cloeter is active in her local community and the state.  She is a Board of Director Member for YWCA East-Union County, a Board of Director Member for the Women’s Fund of New Jersey, Committee Member of “Make Mine a Million $ Business- New Jersey campaign, Past-Board of Director Member- Warren County Community College Foundation, Past- Catholic Charities Development Committee Member, Past-Participant member of the NJAWBO- Diversity Committee, and Past-Member of The Women’s Association – NJPAC.  She is an avid golfer and the mother of two sons.
LindaLinda Wellbrock is a co-founder of Entrepreneur Exposé and the President of Her Business- a digital publication focused on female entrepreneurs which is launching nationally in 2010. Ms. Wellbrock created Her Business after an extensive career history as Publisher and Vice President of Business Development for a professional women's publication. In addition, to writing feature articles on some of the most powerful women in the state, her responsibilities focused on managing the sales efforts, launching events and developing and implementing effective marketing campaigns. Ms. Wellbrock began her marketing career in the financial world for Merrill Lynch and Painewebber (now UBS).
Ms. Wellbrock is a Foundation Board Member of Raritan Valley Community College, Past Board Member- New Jersey Association for Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) and Committee Member of The Women's Venture Fund.
Ms. Wellbrock has an MBA with a focus in Entrepreneurship from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, NJ. She is Graduate of Northeastern University, Boston, MA and earned a BS in Communications with a focus in On-Air Journalism combined with a Business Minor.
Ms. Wellbrock was born and raised in New Jersey. She is married and the proud mother of two year old twins. She currently resides in High Bridge, NJ and is an active member of the community.

Christina is a member of Fox Rothschild LLP’s Labor and Employment Department.  She counsels clients on complying with applicable federal and state laws, including the FMLA, FLSA, Title VII, the ADA, USERRA, and state discrimination, family leave, and wage and hour laws.  Christina litigates employment cases in federal and state court in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.  She drafts employment manuals, employment contracts, and severance agreements to insure compliance with applicable laws.  She also provides training to clients on a variety of topics, including sexual and other types of harassment, FMLA leave, compliance with the ADA and state disability laws, disciplining/evaluating employees, workplace violence, and reasonable suspicion drug-testing.

PenniPenni came to NJAWBO’s Women’s Business Center in 1999 as Project Coordinator after she and her husband sold their twenty-two year old business, J & C Zamboni, Inc., the east coast distributorship for sales and service of Zamboni Ice Resurfacer machines.  The business began as a parts center in their unheated garage and grew to a corporation with multi-million dollar sales that conducted business internationally.

            In 2001 Penni was named the Director of NJAWBO’s Women’s Business Center developing programs and curriculum, teaching, administering the funding grants of the Center and creating outreach initiatives for the women’s business community.  During this time program participants increased by more than 1200%  and the Center has been honored with the State of New Jersey Wynona M. Lipman Award for Job training and Professional Development Program Recognition Award and  the 2009 SBA Women’s Business Center of Excellence Award.   Her extensive business experience, education as a Sociologist (Rutgers University) and her passion for helping women attain economic independence have blended to generate exciting new projects for the Center.  She has taught Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship as an Option to inmates who are approaching the end of their sentences at Edna Mahan’s Correctional Institute for Women in Clinton, NJ, has presented programs at shelters for abused women, at middle and high schools and was the 2005 US Small Business Administration’s Minority Business Champion of the Year. 

Penni also sits on the Advisory Boards at The Rothman Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University, The Center for Financial Literacy and the Women’s Center for Entrepreneurship Corp.

She resides in Chester, NJ with her husband, James, and their two dogs.

Mitchell Rait is Counsel to the law firm of Budd Larner, P.C. in Short Hills, NJ, and serves as its Chief Executive Officer.  He is an attorney concentrating in general business law and litigation, employment law, technology law and corporate transactions in a wide variety of industries. Mr. Rait also handles personal injury, divorce and real estate matters.  He has achieved an AV Martindale-Hubbell Rating.

DawnDawn Desmelyk is a business solutions officer at Affinity Federal Credit Union.  As a fifteen-year veteran of Affinity, Desmelyk has held various positions within the company including customer service, branch banking, business development and account management.  In her current role, she works with business owners to optimize their businesses through Affinity’s extensive portfolio of financial products, services, and business solutions.

 

Desmelyk also brings to the table her first-hand knowledge of owning a small business. In December 2006, she launched KMD Excavating, LLC, which is still in operation today, and successfully ran the business until its sale in June of 2009. Her knowledge and experience allows her to better understand the challenges that business owners face so she can work with them to find solutions and resources.

 

In her spare time, Desmelyk serves as a board member of Middle Earth, a non-profit agency whose mission is to provide prevention, intervention and crisis services to youth. In addition, she teaches a financial literacy program to various local non-profits through the Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation. 

 

Desmelyk received her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Caldwell College. She also completed the Entrepreneur Certificate Program offered through the Small Business Development Center at Raritan Valley Community College. Born and raised in New Jersey, she currently resides in Basking Ridge, NJ, with her daughter.
